Organising Saša Einsiedler’s Wardrobe

Imagine a wardrobe filled only with carefully chosen pieces—clothes you love to wear, perfectly suited to your figure and harmonising in colour with your skin tone, hair, and eyes. Now imagine it beautifully organised, so you can effortlessly get dressed for work, special events, leisure, and even at-home comfort.

That’s the wardrobe Saša Einsiedler has today.

Saša’s wardrobe transformation was a joint effort with Tina Markun (Slovenia’s first certified KonMari Consultant). Before our session, Saša visited my studio for a colour analysis and personal style consultation. For the organisation process, she completed a lifestyle questionnaire.

Saša’s life is wonderfully varied—she speaks at conferences, leads workshops, practises yoga, enjoys sports and gardening, and values spending time at home and in the garden with family and friends.

How We Started

We began by emptying all shelves and drawers, sorting every item by category. Then came the review—decision-making, memories, rediscovered treasures, and new outfit possibilities. Several hours later, we had a transformed wardrobe, but most importantly, Saša had clarity and lightness in her clothing choices.

Tina asked Saša a few questions about her experience.

Saša, what was the main reason you decided to transform your wardrobe?

“Last year, we renovated our home, and my eyes kept wandering to my wardrobe. I knew I had too much. I’ve known Lea Pisani for a long time and value her advice—especially her saying that ‘less is more’ when it comes to clothes. But I couldn’t figure out on my own what should go. I was also aware that I’m not the most precise at folding laundry, and sometimes I just rush through it. I wanted someone to teach and guide me—but I kept postponing it. Then came this perfect opportunity to have both of you in my home! I’m endlessly grateful.”

It’s not always easy to open your wardrobe to others. How did you feel before and during our visit?

“Honestly, I worried about what my wardrobe might reveal about me. I even thought about tidying up before you came. But there wasn’t time, so I told myself: let them see the reality. And it wasn’t bad at all! You even said my wardrobe was ‘normal.’ I felt such relief—both of you were warm, kind, and truly professional.”

You had several special garments made for events and television appearances. How did you feel when reviewing those?

“Some carry beautiful memories, others less so. Lea laughed when I said I’d keep them ‘for costumes’—she said that’s always the last excuse clients give to avoid letting go. A few pieces truly deserved a special place in the wardrobe; they’re like ornaments.”

Many women fear they’ll regret letting something go. How did you feel about the clothes you decided not to keep?

“My advantage is having three daughters—two are already taller than me, but there’s a good chance some pieces will fit them. I stored a few better-quality items in a fabric bag. If I don’t miss them after a year, they’ll go to friends.”

What’s the biggest change since the wardrobe transformation?

“Oh, my wardrobe feels so light now! I breathe easier when I open it. I haven’t missed a single item. I’ve bought a few new things, but not many. The colours in there now just call to me! I’d do this again in a heartbeat—and I wish I hadn’t waited so long. It’s such a relief.”

Tina, thank you for living your calling and sharing your skills. Perhaps not everyone knows about you yet, but by sharing this experience, I’m sure we’ll inspire many more people.
